  1. Thanks for your offer! I can't send personal messages. but i wold be intrested in the front and rear NOS brake shoes. Stephan
  2. Thanks for the answer and sorry for my english. The problem is, the anchor pin is about 1/8" too deep in the drum for this brake shoes. The lining touch in the bottom and brake. Therefore I hope that someone can give me the correct brake shoe partnumber based on the backplate number.
  3. Hi, I am new to forum. I come from Switzerland and drive various US cars. To the problem: My 58er Mercury Commuter is no equipped with the original brake pads. It is an early production model with FIN, #M8JE508026. The parts specified by various people do not fit. I have already tried the following parts. DYNAMIC FRICTION 1901033600 DYNAMIC FRICTION 1901033500 DYNAMIC FRICTION 1901026500 (front) DYNAMIC FRICTION 1901026400 (rear) BOSCH BS265 (front) BOSCH BS264R (rear) I sliced the coatings with grinding paper on the inside of the drums on the vehicle. It looks like the coatings are asymmetrical. Upstairs I still have a lot of coating and downstairs the receipts are almost slipped onto the support plate. The front baking plate is by Bendix with the number 308042-L / 308042-R Does this brake belong to this vehicle at all or has it been replaced over the years of use? Drum diameter 11”, Brake pad 11x3” at front, 11x21/2” at rear I'd be glad if someone could help me. Stephan
