Hello!! I am picking up a 1966 Buick Special Deluxe 4 door tomorrow. My question is in the carburetor. It’s in need of a carb rebuild. I know it’s a 2 barrel but I’m curious if anyone has any suggestions or info in rebuilding them. I.e cautionary tales, how-to’s, to do’s/not to-do’s? Thanks for your input! *I have rebuilt many small engine carbs and have turned a lot of wrenches in regards to vehicles. This is my first non-running carbureted V8.

Good evening! I have recently purchased a 66’ Special Deluxe 4 door with the 310 in it. My question being, it isn’t currently running because it’s in need of a carb rebuild. I have worked on a lot of cars BUT being that I’m 32, most of them have been fuel injected. This is my first carbureted V8. I am having issues finding any content on rebuilding them. Any guidance would be extremely helpful.
