  1. Looking to sell my 1985 Chrysler Lebaron Mark Cross Convertible. Has the 2.2 liter turbo engine. Very good overall condition and probably one of the nicest examples out there. Odometer shows 40k original miles. Attractive color scheme (White with black convertible top), silver and charcoal Mark Cross leather interior with silver pinstripe. Has air, power trunk and door locks, wire caps and Chrysler Ultimate sound system with working cassette deck and graphic equalizers. Cylinder head was machined and rebuilt, and head gasket replaced in 2019 at cost of over $2,300. R/F Drive axle replaced and four brand new wide white wall Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires put on last year. Have owned car about 12 years. Known history from new. Original owner was an elderly lady from Central N.J. who owned car until her death in 2006 at age 91. I am the third owner. Multiple AACA award winner: AACA Second Junior, 2014, AACA First Junior, 2017, AACA Senior, 2021, AACA Preservation, 2022. Asking $7,500. Jeff L. East Hampton, CT. 860-335-2832. jtlepak@comcast.net
  2. This very solid unrestored 1939 Packard Convertible Coupe now being offered for sale after 50-year family ownership. Here is the story of this car. According to the data plate, this Packard was originally sold in Queens, New York and has spent its entire life in the Greater NYC area. The last owner purchased the car in NYC in 1972 and drove it to local shows for a few years before parking it in a secure storage garage in Yonkers, NY around 1978 where it has sat ever since. He always intended to fully restore the car but was never able to do so. Sadly, he passed away about five years ago without ever getting the Packard back on the road. The family has now decided to put the car up for sale. I knew the father when he was a member of the former Eastern Packard Club many years ago and the family approached me and asked for help in finding a buyer as they are not very knowledgeable about Packards.I went to look at the car recently and took a number of photos. The sheet metal is exceptionally straight and solid, especially for this model. Floors are perfect and the alignment of the doors and body panels are nice and even. I went over the entire car with a magnet and could not detect any body filler. The only rust I could find is a very small amount along the bottom end of the driver's side door. The car is very complete and original and a number of items which are frequently missing, such as the sun visors and splash guards, are all in place. Interior needs to be redone, especially the front seat, but there is enough there for patterns and some original panels might possibly be reused. The car also has some very desirable options, including a deluxe radio, Packard driving lights, banjo style wheel and, of course, a goddess radiator ornament. Given the condition of the body and the car's completeness, it would be an excellent candidate for a concours restoration.See below for photos. Right now, the family is looking for reasonable offers on the vehicle. If you do have an interest, please send me a message on this site and I will forward your information. Thank you for your interest.
