Would someone know or remember if on the Stromberg EE - 22 used on 1934 Packard Super 8 cars if the carb needle uses the small metal wire retainer that holds it to the float? I don't think it is used because the needle is contained in the seat and cannot back out. The one I removed didn't have one attached to the needle. I know carbking has discussed these carbs in the past. Thank you.
