Thanks for that guys. I just found a listing of a 1927 Dodge sedan with a 'fast four' engine with identical radiator and cap, as well as the mudguards having the hump ridge, so that got to be close if not 'it'. Cheers.

Taken in 1938 in Lower Hutt, New Zealand, that's my mother as a teen leaning on her Dad's car. She used to refer to it fondly as the Overlander, and the only make I can come up with is a Willys-Overland. So if you can pin it down for me, that would be great!
