  1. Thanks John. I've written off to the Toledo History Museum this morning.
  2. Thanks everyone for the replies. I have used a great deal of penetrating fluid and removed pump! I thought there might be some trick ... but no just a lot of grind!
  3. Hi everyone, I am wondering if anyone might happen to have a photo of the O'Rourke Buick and/or Pemberton Cadillac in Toledo from the late 1950's or early 1960's. I understand that O'Rourke Buick stopped selling Buicks in or around 1960-1961. Any further help would be awesome. Thanks Andrew
  4. Hi everyone, I am having a few issues with my spare 1924 Buick motor in particular removing the water pump. I have seen the instructions for the 1925 6 cylinder but it seems different process. The collar is rusted on the shaft at the starter/generator end. I have attached a picture. Any help or idea appreciated.
  5. Dear All, I’ve lurked here for a while and signed up. I have recently purchased a 1924 24-4-35. It is a Canadian built car delivered to New Zealand and brought to Australia in the late 1980s. I am wondering if there is any reason it would not have the McLaughlin-Buick logo on the radiator shroud. The engine number is 1082992 and the serial number is 82405. Any other information that might be lurking around. Photo included. Cheers Andrew
