  1. m-mman, Thank you very much. Just the reduction in time to a decade is helpful. The make and model are a bonus. With 25" rims, would this definitely be a truck or where the car rims that large as well?
  2. We finally got a chance to dive this shipwreck again with good visibility. Attached are several new photos with measurements. I would like to get an idea of what range of years to search for this shipwreck's identity based on the type of vehicle sitting within the wreck. From prior comments, I understand that it is probably after 1925, but I don't have much more to go on. It would also be helpful to know the make and model if that is possible with this limited detail. I do have additional video, so if there is something that I should look for, please let me know and I will review the video.
  3. I was able to grab a few more pics with additional perspectives, including one for perspective of wheel size with a diver. Reducing variables would be helpful. A date range for the vehicle. Truck or car? In my brief and uneducated internet search, I couldn't find any photos of trucks with this style of wire rims. Were trucks too heavy for this type of wheel?
  4. Thanks for the comments. I will take additional photos with measurements the next time I dive the wreck. There is more to the vehicle that may help you to identify it. I will also look at the hub. Sagefinds, you are more than welcome, but bring your tech gear. The wreck sits in 180´ of water. We don’t come across too many cars down there but we do enjoy putting the stories together for these shipwrecks. I will be back shortly with additional details. Cheers
  5. Hello folks, I am new to the forum, specifically to ask about this photo. I haven’t taken detailed measurements or photos yet, but I am trying to identify the ship carrying this vehicle. I’m hoping to at least get a date range for the wheel and possibly the manufacturer or even the vehicle it belongs to. There is not much left but there are four wheels that are quite large. Looks to be a truck rather than a car. Probably asking too much with just this wheel, but if you could also let me know the distinguishing features/measurements that would aid in identification, it would be much appreciated.
