  1. Thank you, Walt...I thought maybe it was cast iron since it was so heavy for its size. I appreciate your response.

I am new here and hope this type of question is okay...I have been going through my father's toys (he was born in 1926) and have come across this 6" metal car (pretty heavy for its size) and have spent all night going through the internet (ebay, etsy, vintage toy websites, etc) trying to identify it as far as car make/model and manufacturer. I've had no luck. There are no markings on the underside of the car except for a number (2215?) Is this supposed to be a model of a "real" car or is it just made up for a toy?? It looks very streamlined and almost stylized. Is it cast iron? Another metal? Valuable? or not? I'm very confused and would appreciate any input. Thank you in advance.
