I thought i would have one last shot at getting information on where my 1928 chrysler 72 conv coupe came from
its right hand drive speedometer in km
my guess is montevideo in uruguay where cars were right hand drive and speedo in km
i am basing this on the word on the windscreen being montevideo
could anybody confirm if the wording on screen is montevideo

Wow what a car probably better than when it came from the factory
however close you get with yours its your own achievement and its looking good so far

ViV W regarding the washers at the bottom of the t handle mine had the remnants of a leather washer
which i had assumed was to pressurise the brake fluid
does yours just have to metal washers
