  1. I thought i would have one last shot at getting information on where my 1928 chrysler 72 conv coupe came from

its right hand drive speedometer in km

my guess is montevideo  in uruguay where cars were right hand drive and speedo in km

i am basing  this on the word on the windscreen being montevideo

could anybody confirm if the wording on screen is montevideo

Thank you in advance for any helpJob27Chrysler72pic2.jpg.57528879db5ec0c498dd96b51d16cfe4.jpg

Wow what a car probably better than when it came from the factory

however close you get with yours its your own achievement and its looking good so far

cant wait to see the end result

Very cool but basically a heavy aluminum over wood body frame on a fairly heavy (for type of car) frame without the power to move it along.  I love the look but the TR cars were just so much more agile.

If I ever managed to get in the "dickey seat" I would likely be screwed and need to be professionally extracted...😁

Yes Alloy Body  But steel front wings

A lot of hardy souls here, but driving in an open car in the rain when it's COLD outside is asking for a winter case of a Head Cold, which I don't want.

I still think this is a fair weather car.
