  1. I think it's only missing the air cleaner and 1 trunk latch. It's has a air cleaner in the trunk but it doesn't match the one on my 47. Only 2 small spots of floor rust. But has rust where that back fenders bolt on and patch in front of the rear fenders and I think someone capped the rocker panels. Does anyone make patch panels for these cars? At this point I'd like to trade it for less of a project if not then I guess I will tackle it.
  2. I recently acquired a ruff and rusty 1948 convertible and i also have a solid coupe. Is it easier to move the convertible stuff to a nice solid coupe body or cut the coupe up into patch a bunch of patch panels and attempt to build the convertible body?
  3. Just bought a rough and rusty 48 convertible. 1st question who is the best source of parts for these cars and 2nd considering using a coupe as a parts cars, just wondering are the doors and the actual frame of the car the same as convertible? I have a pretty nice coupe that has sit in the corner and not moved for about 8 years strongly considering sacrifice it to build the convertible. ,
