Wow, I think you are right. It sure looks like a Torpedo-bodied Fiat 508. Since they were built in a few places, including Poland, it would have been possible that he would have this type of car. According to my grandmother, he traveled to Neckarsulm to buy industrial equipment. Thank you for your help!

This is a picture of my grandfather with his first car. Picture was taken in the Western Prussian part of Germany near the city of Posen in the late 1930s or very early 1940s. I presume that it is German, but my grandfather owned a BSA 350 motorcycle at the same time, so it may be British as well. Any hints are greatly appreciated
