I totally understand. I’m one of those phone number guys. Remembered almost everyone’s number of people in the church I attended, but figured it was because I used the number two or three times a year. We moved 10 hrs away and life changed completely, no reason to phone them for 24 years. I just moved back in the community and when I want to call up someone I just know the number still. It feels unreal at times.

My father in law remembers a serial number of a half ton that he says was late 40s or early 50s. He believes it was either a Fargo or a Chevy because his father had both at one time. I have searched in various places and all I get is that the number is an error. But he says it is for sure the right number as he ended up memorizing it while waiting for the combine. I did wonder if it could be possible that the 5 was an S or perhaps the zero an O. The number is 9131405313. I am guessing this is a place where someone knows this stuff. It would be awesome to show him what the vehicle was and whatever else I can learn from that number. Thanks in advance. Gary
