I was able to unhook the arm, what’s next? The piece the arm was connected to doesn’t seem to move and the button on the shifter doesn’t budge.

Hi, I have a 1988 Buick Reatta that won’t go into neutral. Battery is dead and I’m selling the car as a restore project. I need to push it to the front yard. Any idea how to get it into neutral? Don’t see a shift lock release and when I hooked up some power via jumper cables, while items such as trunk and glove box release worked, it still wouldn’t allow me to operate the shifter with my foot on the brake.
