  1. Thanks to all ! Now I have to find a good machine shop that can do that in Texas.
  2. I acquired a engine from a fella who died before he could complete his project. When I pulled the head, cylinder three had grooves in the side. Anybody got any ideas on why the grooves? Gas will just blowby. Thanks TIm
  3. Mark, The project is a 1927 Chevy Capital Coupe. It was my great grandmother’s. I got it about 20 years ago and finally decided to redo it. I had it repainted, I redid the top and interior myself. I need to find a good shop to do my engine. It needs crank and cam reground, probably needs boring and definitely babbit for rods and mains. I am near Dallas but am looking for a shop anywhere that knows chevy fours. And now my wiper motor works!
  4. Mark, YOU The Man!!! Ticking like a champ! Thanks a bunch. Tim
  5. Thanks a bunch for checking. Looks like it should work. Sent a PM with address. Please let me know if you didn’t get it. Thanks again, Tim
