I started this thread on the SDC Forum but Bill suggested I join this forum to discuss my new barn find. I've been an SDC member for 30 years and own a '61 Hawk. I just acquired this Coupe Express, buried deeply under tarps and a crushed tent, 13 layers or so deep. Its not seen daylight for 30+ years and I appear to the be third owner, and 55k total miles. It is my intention to get this car running and back on the road. But the engine is stuck so that needs to be dealt with soon. A restoration?, maybe, maybe not. A car is only original once. I posted photos and more background on the SDC forum. But here are a few pics. I'll be looking for any tips and advice as I have little experience with pre war cars. Also. As a bonus, the truck includes a 1928 Chev 4 cyl engine. If you know of anyone that wants one, have them contact me. I'm not going to hang onto it for long. Thanks.
