Thanks for all of the input. I've been busy and just got a minute to respond.
It IS a Special and not a Road Master.
It is a 4 door.
I do have a clear title.
3 Speed manual transmission, clutch is free.
Three on column shifter moves through the gears smooth.
I am in SC.
I've rebuilt everything from a 3 horse Briggs and Stratton to a Caterpillar 3408E-V8 so I'm smart enough not to hook a battery charger up, pour some gas down the carb and let it rip.
All I've done so far has been pump up the tires (tube type), pull the plugs and pour some Marvel Mystery oil into the cylinders, and order master cylinder and wheel cylinder kits. Plan on rebuilding those when time allows.
My last project was a '64 Fairlane that had been garaged since '72 and it's running sweet.
My main question is whether or not "Cranks, runs, rolls, and stops" adds any value to the asking price OR is "as is" just as good. Value is in the eye of the beholder. I honestly don't know how desirable this old 8,000 pound chunk of iron is.
Thanks again.
