Thank you for this information Larry! I will check into it right now.

Thank you for your response! I will be going with stainless lines for all brakes and fuel. I will be making them my self. Much cheaper!

I am looking for a Master Cylinder and brake lines for my 1950 Chrysler Windsor. I can't seem to find the exact parts for my car. Most of what I am coming across is for Desoto, Plymouth or Dodge. Are these parts interchangeable? Also, if anyone can let me know where I can by parts for this car that would be great. I am searching the internet constantly, but I know a lot of people have their own connections that may be helpful.

Thank you for the information! The way it's going, I guess I will keep it stock. Seems less complicated.

I am wanting to upgrade to disk brakes only on the front of my 1950 Chrysler Windsor. What all is involved? What parts are needed and can I use the existing master cylinder?

I called YNZ Yesterday as you suggested. The gentleman I spoke with was very knowledgeable and convinced me to stay with the 6v system. I really appreciate your response and the information you provided.

Thank you for your response! I am looking to upgrade the electrical system in order to have some modern conveniences. Right now, I have the whole car tore down and all the wiring system was pretty well shot. I have read that most people who have tried the conversion are successful with exception of the transmission. My thoughts were to add a transformer that allows me 6v. I don't mind staying 6v, but I just thought I might bring everything up to a modernized state while it is tore down. Plus I want to put a Holley EFI system on it.

I just purchased a 1950 Chrysler Windsor. It will be taken down to the frame and redone. I want to keep the drivetrain the same but upgrade a few things. One thing on the list I want to do is a 6v to 12v conversion. Does anyone have any suggestions, comments, or opinions about this for this particular car? Also, is there any premade wiring harnesses available?
