I am looking at purchasing a 1960 Studebaker Lark. It is a car that someone started to turn into a rat rod. Floor is cut out, as well as trunk floor. Rear end was swapped for a S10, supposedly a 12 bolt Posi. Looking under the car, the frame looks good, is there any places that I should look on the frame for known rust problem spots? I am looking at dropping in a SBC with automatic. I am planning on cleaning it up, but not into showroom condition. Possibly dropped spindles, get rid of the leaf springs in the back for some coil overs to drop it down a little. Front disc brake swap. Any assistance would be appreciated.
