Thanks for everyones help !

The "deceased Gentleman" who left this car to my friend misplaced or hid for safe keeping the title & registration card.
What is the easiest & least expensive way to get a duplicate ?
Thanks for your help.

Thanks guys! What a wealth of knowledge you are. My father, who was a city employee bought this truck from the City of Kansas City who had used it for a Fire Department hose truck at one time. As far as I know, our family is the second owner of this truck. The condition is incredible in the grand scheme of things. It's all there and in good shape. I did see a small spot on the drivers door toward the bottom that appears to have some putt in it. Absolutely no visible rust that I can see.
If a guy was looking for one of these, it would appear he would sure have a hard time finding one.
Thanks again for your help.
Have you established an asking price ?

You don't have to move the ad;
you can just type in a new ad, with the
same or more information, in the forum's
general cars-for-sale category. If you
need help, we can ask a moderator to
help you.
This Chrysler category gets comparatively
few views compared to the broader category.
And even so, I hope you're advertising where
more people will see your ad--such as in
Hemmings Motor News' magazine and website.
Thanks !

AvMac, you might want to tell us where the
car is located, since this forum reaches all over
the U. S., Canada, Europe, Australia, and beyond.
And listing some contact information, such as
a phone number, will enable people to reach you
easily.
Feel free to put in the general cars-for-sale category,
too. Many more people view that category.
All the best to you on your sale!
I don't know how to move Ad but car is in Proctorville,OH

Do we need to cancel & relist or can we move it intact tothe For Sale category?

I was happy to help reunite him with it. He was excited enough about it that he texted me several photos of the car before he even left your place.
It was an exciting & joyful day.

There should be a data plate on the firewall with identifying numbers on it.
I found the numbers on the firewall and S/n on the frame.
The new owner picked it up last Friday. Thanks to everyone for your help.
Remember we still have a 29 Buick and several 29 Buick parts for sale.

It is my understanding that Larry Howard, who restored this car, and sold it back in 2006 or 2008, has made a deal to purchase it back. It will be a couple of weeks before he picks it up, but I look forward to seeing it here in Southeastern NC soon.
Larry picked it up Friday; Was like reuniting old friends; Thanks for your help.

If it has a back seat, it's a 1938 Buick Special sport coupe. If no back seat, it's a business coupe. Looks to be in very nice condition.
It has a small back seat (will load pic soon) and says "Special" on dash
