I wish it was that easy. I did get it out but it is a two person job. The top hinge had to be unbolted from the door and the pin the door strap pin removed so the door could be moved back a few inches and then the bottom hinge could be removed. Then moved the door back in place and rebolted the top hinge to help hold the door while I worked on the bottom hinge. I built a wood platform to support the door during this fun process. The part of the hinge that bolts onto the door is too long to just unbolt and remove.

Is there a way to remove a door hinge on a 1957 Thunderbird without removing the door?
