Ok so it sound like I should run away, I was offered the car for 5500. Sounds like a good deal but if the car has bad wood and it will be a mess in a few years. My thought was for 5500 plus 1000 transport I would be into it for 6500 to my home. I’m guessing this car has been for sale for a long time. So dibarlaw you saw the car in person would you buy it at that number or just wait for a roadster?

Hey guys near the forum, have a couple early 20s fords currently. Found a 1926 Buick two door convertible not a roadster but more like a tudor convertible Ford. Car appears to be in a good driver condition nice top very nice interior some modifications like original carb is missing. What I’m asking is what should I offer the guy for it? I know the Ford market but I am new to this car and not sure of where I should be in the vehicle to have it for a couple years drive it maybe do some minor improvements and still be able to get out of the car without losing my shirt.
