Hi JohnD1956 Originality isn’t important in this circumstance. I am looking for a nice audible burble at low speeds & not loud at high speed if possible. An increase in power would be great. I do not plan on any long journeys. I am not familiar with the difference or significance of Single or joint, so would welcome advice. many Thanks

Hi I am new to your site so please bear with me if my question is in the wrong place or has been asked many times before! I recently purchased in 1959 Buick LaSabre two door fixed head coupe. It needs a replacement exhaust/muffler from the manifold back. I can get it made in Dublin Ireland where I live. My question is what is the best diameter, number of boxes, and design to create a good V8 noise! Or am I better off purchasing one and having it shipped? many thanks in advance. Trevor Cullen
