1930 Studebaker commander

Hello, I'm working on an Commander 8. I found a Stromberg updraft on your forum and thought maybe someone could help me with a part or can tell me how the throttle linkage is supposed to work. This car had aTillotson up draft on it and the throttle linkage moved back and forth with the length body frame The Stromberg I'm going to install, the throttle linkage moves towards the engine. I think I need some linkage thats attached to the motor and then on the carb. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, George Rifford 913-314-3313
