Hello just curious will the pass. side wiper arm from another car such as a Regal work on an 84 Riv? On mine the stud that holds the wiper blade rusted off and I have to find another arm. Are there any other cars that have interchangeable wiper arms? Or does anyone sell new replacements?

I need to remove the upper wiper cover panel on my 84 Riv and have to remove these rubber plugs that are blocking the screws (facing the engine). Is it possible to remove them without destroying them, and do they make replacements? Also, what is the purpose of those rubber plugs?
