I was surprised to see this listing on ebay yesterday for a "1939 Plymouth Woody" for at least two reasons:
a. It's obviously a 1940 and
b. It belongs to me (and is NOT for sale)
I contacted ebay and a knowledgeable friend. Scammers will download photos from the web (these were taken by the company that sold me the car) and create a fake profile. In this case, the VIN was off by only one digit. They run an "auction," get the "winner" to send a deposit and then disappear. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1939-Plymouth-Woody/123867523518?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&fbclid=IwAR2um_78btVrd1GsiiOy14QrjD2lRQmG_1A662Hrd7LvDVi6fztwHqcZ--s
