I looking for info on this Marquette Hiway King luggage trunk that I recently purchased. The only source I've found is from an early 30s Hudson/Essex dealership options brochure. When I went to pick it up it seemed much heavier than similar trunks I'd seen and that turns out to be because when the lid is opened the whole front of the trunk can be slid out and latched halfway or fully extended doubling it's capacity. Is this a relatively unique feature on trunks of that era? What other marques, if any, offered this model as an option?
