  1. Well I dont know , i Bought it from the second owner here in sweden , but there is california plates under the swedish ones . What can you tell me about it if it is that car ??
  2. Thank you for your support and suggestions. I just want to point out that the car was like this when I bought it , and I am no master mecanic , its actually my first Carburator car ever so ..thats why there is some concern from my part about what to do and not to do.... AND in Sweden there is a shortage of work shops / garages that work with this old cars ...så you cant just drive it there and have some one fix the problem... ( yes if you own an old Volvo or Saab , there is a lot of specialists , but not on US cars) But I thank you so very much for all suggestions and tips. /Peter
  3. Aha ... makes sence ... I am just now looking in to the the vacum lines because i have a fule consumtion problem on this car ... and some one till me the vacum lines could be misfitted i dont know How to translate this but the car wants 3.2 liters of fuel per 10 kilometers of drivning ( dont know what that is in gallons per mile) but its a LOT .. and then I have to try to trim the carburator and the choke ... maybe you se the transparent hose ... its just temporary because I broke one of the vacum hoses trying to loosen it ... a new Will be fitted. Didnt know that about the spacer .. it was like this when i bought it .
