My Great Grandfather owned a 1917 Buick Touring car, Engine No. 312108. Is there any way to determine which edition he had from this alone? Thank you.

Have an old family photo taken after 1920, probably 1921-1922. My Great Grandfather and his second wife. Upon closer look, I noticed a car at the left edge of the original photo. Almost half of the car's front. So I copied and flipped that side and have a kind of symmetrical image now. (With a gap.) Can anyone identify the car? I actually know which make and model it's supposed to be from other research, but would like to have that confirmed by an enthusiast who may recognize it off the bat. Thanks!
