[First car in the town of Abie NE - what is it?]

Thank you. That makes sense. The owner, E.J. Masek, was a director of the Abie State Bank in 1905; it had loans of $9,719.45, and deposits of $14,848.36, and profits of $647.28, back in 1905, so he probably felt rich!! He also owned and operated the hardware store in the little village.  

 

I wonder how much that car would have cost in those days??

This was the first car owned by anyone in the small town of Abie, NE.  

 

[WTB ft windshield crank for 1930 Dodge DD]

I was on about 10th time taking apart the windshield crank mechanism so as to grind the gears so they would mesh. and on the last time, the crank slipped off and broke. (could have cried)   So now I am looking for an original in very good condition to replace it. Does anyone have one?   Thank you, Greg  4023677945

Just wondered if you ever figured out what was making your car gurgle out water??  mine is doing the same thing and was wondering if a headgasket was leaking into the water?  thanks
