Sorry I dont have any valuable information, but just wanted to comment on the 454SS. I knew a guy that bought one brand new. Hardly drove it over the years, just enough to keep it running good. Beautiful vehicle. There was one for sale locally not too long ago but I already have way too much stuff right now, didnt bother to look at it.
I've had my 90 for almost 28 years I'm the 2nd owner

My dear husband camped out at the Ticket Booths and took photos of about 95% of the cars in the show! I'm thankful for that, because after judging and walking the flea market 2 days prior, my knees were not up for more walking lol (I'm lame, and I mean that in every way possible lol) So enjoy! And feel free to download your car if you like the image

It was good to see you Terry, and so many others this year at Hershey! That's my best "find" is the smiles and conversations.
But, I also got some literature for my 95 Caprice Wagon, my 90 454SS truck and GMC Syclone & Typhoon literature.
I'm working on a CJE on Chevy/GMC Performance trucks of the 90's, so this literature, along with the documents I've received from the library, will help me get this completed (If anyone has any literature or documents on 1990-93 Chevy 454SS trucks (That I don't already have), or on the 1991-92 GMC Syclone and Typhoon, I'll gladly take scans of them )

Apparently, my post never got posted!!
Joel and I have been waiting for the PR National since it was first announced a few years ago! Ok, I've been waiting impatiently 😉 We had a fantastic time and made a full on vacation of it! Everyone we spoke to was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks were off the hook! Just like in NC/FL, it rains a little each day, but it was worm and comfortable.
If you are so inclined Here's our photos:
Day one: Lunch, welcome dinner/cocktail
Day 2 Old San Juan - Toyota MuseumDay 3 - National car showDay 4 - Grand National car show and banquetDay 5 - zip lining and beachDay 6 Cuevo Del Indio and 7 arches and Ron del Berlitito- 1

I posted photos in the other LV meet thread. As for your other questions... some people don't have the time to post here often. Not everyone had a camera, or aren't comfortable sharing their photos...
as for the 2023 meet, maybe there are still issues that are up in the air that haven't been ironed out yet, so instead of getting everyone's hopes up, hotel/airfare booked, they are waiting until it is 100%.
Lastly, feel free to volunteer to do any of the above. I know there is a great need for more volunteers within AACA local chapters, Regions and Nationals.

It was cold and windy, but Joel and I had a great time! My judging team was fantastic and we looked at some beautiful trucks and cars.
Joel took photos... Take a gander

Hey guys!
Joel and I are flying to PR for the double meet and will stay a few days after. I have some questions, as neither of us have been there1. The hotel doesn't offer a shuttle - should we take a taxi? I found "Skip the Line" as a transportation alternative, has anyone used them? The price is right, but that also makes me nervous! Tripadvisor | Skip the line! Aiport Shuttle provided by De Tour Con Ali | Puerto Rico, Caribbean
2. We are staying at the hotel and will fly out Wed 4/26 and want to do some site seeing... should we rent a car or is anyone else staying later that wants to share a taxi?
3. Should we bring cash or do most places accept CC ?
4. Once we get to the hotel, are there convenience stores around that we can pick up bottles of water/soda to have onhand?
I might have more questions, but this is to start.

Not sure if you got this resolved, but on the flier it states to email Lourdes at the hotel for reservations. I've spoken to her a number of times and she's quite nice!

Before I buy these online, does anyone have a set of 4 in great condition for sale? If so, please send me the cost shipped to 27606.
Hubcaps.com has them for $40 each. Thanks!

Joel and I truly enjoyed ourselves on our first tour! If interested, below are links to the photos that Joel took on our trip, although it doesn't do the beauty of the WV mountains justice

They are interchange number 3213. "Might" be a GM 10194310, but picture is lousy, and the same part numbers show for 1992 to 1996 Caprice, so I am not sure.
I do not think anyone will challenge you if you run these in place of the wire covers.😉
Great. Thanks Frank!

Very nice! I bought my 95CCC wagon 2 years ago and absolutely love the car! Every time it's out - which is every day cause it's my daily driver - I have conversations with people that always start with "I remember when..." At the NC Region meet 2 weeks ago in New Bern, we couldn't walk away from the car as so many people came by to chat, reminisce and show their kids the rear-facing 3rd row. We're taking it on our first AACA tour next week in WV and cannot wait!

When I bought my 94 Caprice wagon, it came with the wheel covers with the large black center. I didn't think they looked good, and they kept flyiing off! Chased some down, had to buy more replacements other times. So I went to Mincz Tire (Richmond, VA) and traded (with some cash) for a set with the open design and bowtie center. Haven't lost another wheel cover in 200 K more miles!
I've got a 95 wagon that has the wire wheel covers and I cannot stand them lol I want to change them to one like the bottom over but am not sure if they were a stock option in 1995. Do you, by chance, know? Thanks either way!

Hello!
I'd love to find a blue cargo cover for my wagon. Does anyone happen to have one for sale and in good working shape?
Please let me know. Thanks!

Can you get another battery for shows only? Then put the Optima back in when you are driving it around, etc? That would save one point.
As for the AC - I'm not sure that you would be deducted for that since the components are all the same, correct?
Radio - Do you have the stock components to put back into the car or is this a customer stereo installation?

Joel took all of those. He likes to camp out near the toll booths and get the moving shots. 🙂
