  1. As near as I can tell these parts are as I am describing them, but I am no V8 parts expert.

They are NOS with the V8 shackle installed in them. There is the slightest surface rust from shelf storage. The threads are good.  These have never been mounted.

I am asking $200 OBO for the pair, plus shipping.  I will ship at the buyer's expense.

Let me know if you have comments or questions. Thanks.

  2. I purchased a set of 1935 Ford Brake Assemblies years ago, thinking I would use them for my Model A. That never happened. These have been sitting on my shelf for over 30 years. I bought them from a street rodder who was rodding a 1935 Ford. The units are as I purchased them: in good condition & partially restored (repainted and new linings at least) . Since I will never use them, I am interested in selling them. I am selling all FOUR assemblies for one price.

$300 plus shipping OBO for all 4 corners.
    Here is a description:
    (1) Front drum assembly with backing plate, plus DUAL hole spindle in good condition. This assembly has 4 lug nuts and all five studs look good. This unit has the tapered roller bearings (with rear seal), the dust cap, keyed washer and nut. The king pin is original Ford marked with a 48 and a K. I have never removed the king pin so have no idea of the wear, if any. Inside the king pin is the actuator pin. The original brake shoes are re-lined with NEW lining. This ventilated front drum measures (as near as I can tell) 12.125" diameter--looks freshly turned.

    (1) Rear drum assembly with backing plate in good condition. This assembly has NO lug nuts and all five studs look good. This unit has the roller bearing (with seal), the dust cap, keyed washer and nut. The actuator shaft is present. The original brake shoes are re-lined with NEW lining. The drum has a good tapered bore with a good keyway. This solid rear drum measures (as near as I can tell) 12.060" diameter--looks freshly turned.

Attached are many pictures of these parts, please review them for details.
I think the drums have quite a bit of stock on them considering how far they have been turned, but that is up to the purchaser to decide how usable these are. I am selling these parts AS-IS.
Each assembly is probably 25 lbs at least. I am willing to ship them, but the total cost of shipping will be on the buyer. I highly recommend the buyer pick them up (I live in west central Ohio about 20 miles from the Indiana state line).
Let me know if you have questions. I can be somewhat flexible on the price. Thanks.

  3. The stamped steel artillery wheels with a 6 lug pattern are 1936 Chevrolet.  The wheels are out there, however, original Mullins hubcaps are rare.  They tend to wear between the stamped outer skin and the wheel and the skin eventually pops off.  I have bought generic hubcaps from a repro parts Chevy dealer that have no logo on them to run on my trailer.  Sadly I sold my Mullins trailer a few years ago.  I still have the repro hubcaps, which I may sell.  I kept the original wheels with the original hubcaps, but for now, I am not interested in selling these.

  4. I am looking for a Boyce Motometer Accessory:  The ESSANDEE GLO-LIGHT attachment that fits a Model A Ford Size Motometer.  I have the ESSANDEE GLO-LIGHT attachment that fits LARGE Boyce Motometers used on large automobiles.  I am willing to purchase the smaller one if necessary but would PREFER to swap, even up--in the same condition, for the larger size one that I already have.  Please see the pictures below of the LARGE GLO-LITE that I have.  Naturally, if I were to swap I would want to meet personally to inspect that the smaller one is in the same condition as the larger one I have.  The small size has a 2-3/16" flange diameter.  The larger one is 2-7/8" diameter.  Please see the photos.  I may be wrong, but I think the larger one may be more rare than the smaller one.  If the GLO-LITE comes in the wreathed version (I am not sure), that would be a plus.  Thanks!

  8. I have for sale a pair of really nice cowl light arms for what I have been told fit a 1929 Studebaker.  Merc66 told me about what it fits (says he has one).  These are listed in the For Sale forum for $35.  Look for "FS Cowl light arms for an unknown 1920s automobile."  I have carried these around for years.  If anyone, including Merc66, wants these for the cost of shipping, just let me know your name and address, we will figure up the shipping, and I will send them right out after payment.

  9. I have for sale ONE Auburn dealership letterhead from the Auburn-Indiana Company of Fort Wayne, Indiana.  It also has the Cord coat of arms at the top.  In addition I have TWO copies of Super Service Inc letterhead, also of Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Both companies are of the same address.  All letterheads are unused.

Bear in mind, if you have the original, it will be easy to run off copies to send to your friends.

I am asking $75 for all THREE originals.  Shipping would be extra.
