Maok, you were absolutely right. I pulled the oil pump assembly out and turned the shaft to the correct position and put it back. Many thanks for the help!
Hello,
Before ignition timing I checked the valve timing according to manual and it was correct. Timing marks on the camshaft and crankshaft sprockets were opposite each other and #1 & #6 pistons were at TDC, but distributor shaft tongue was not parallel with crankshaft as it supposed to be. There was some 45 degrees offset. I didn’t remove crankshaft or camshaft during disassembling. Any advice what could be the problem?
Thanks.
Thank you Peter for your prompt answer! Really good information. Looks like I can’t send private message (being too newbie), so ”Old buicks 2” could you PM your email to me.
Thanks, Ville
Hello,
Does anyone know which ignition contact points I can use in my 1926 Chrysler 70? It has Remy 656B distributor with dual points. I have tried to search in internet, but no success.
Thanks, Ville

Hi all, I have a 1926 Chrysler 70 Phaeton and I'm starting to restore it. Does anyone know which colour options there was that time? I also would like to know did the seats originally have black or brown leather? Cheers, Ville
