  1. The plymouth is at my mom's house in CA. I am in AZ. My husband and I are going to CA in the next few weeks and pick it up. We are going to tow it on a tow bed. I just need to get some contacts of people who would hook me up on some work at a really good price. I believe it is a 1953 Savoy. My mom thinks it is a '54, but for some reason I am stuck on it being a '53. Then there is my husband who thinks it is a '59.
  2. I haven't picked it up yet from my motheres house. I have to go to CA to pick it up and tow it back to AZ. I need to have all original parts but in a sense brand new ones. Hopefully I will get the photos ASAP. My dad put in a brand new engine, transmission and interior just before he passed away. But there may be sun damage to the interior and it is faded. I want to start pricing stuff out and get connections going ASAP so we can start getting this car restored.
  3. Hi everyone. I am new to this site and I am needing a lot of help with any information that I could get from people. I just got my fathers Plymouth Savoy. He passed away almost 6 years ago. My husband and I are going to be restoring the car the way it should be and the way my father would have wanted it or done it himself. I don't know where to start or who to go to. I would love to get my hands on some free parts and paint catalogs for the car. I needed to find out if anyone lives in AZ who could suggest a good paint shop to check out for a plymouth savoy, along with any and all websites that would have parts for the savoy at wholesale. Also, does anyone know of a website that would have photos of plymouth savoys and their paint schemes. I don't really know where to go who won't screw me over. Who is reasonable in price. I don't want someone who is going to gouge me for everything. Any advice or information anyone could give me, I would really appreciate it! Thanks.
