  1. Thanks, that must be the car. I went back to Google Images and searched for "1928 ac" and found: http://www.automobileadshop.com/1928-ac-acedes-6-cyl-2-seater-touring-car-priced-advert-112-p.asp Which looks like the exact car. I guess the only mystery, for me any way, is how to add images. Thank you very much, Dick Aunger
  2. Thank you and sorry for the trouble. A better image showing the complete car with it's distinctive grill can be found by going to Google then pick "Images" then search for wodehouse car. It shows up as the very first image. Dick Aunger
  3. Don't know why image didn't show up(?) I tried to do it like it said in FAQ where it says: type [image] then add websight. I'll try again. (The image does pop up if you copy-paste this websight into your web browser.) Dick Aunger [image]http://pro.corbis.com/search/Enlargement.aspx?CID=isg&mediauid={DB5102F2-193B-4AA7-A7BE-4C462ABA0677}
  4. Wodehouse Mystery Car Can someone please tell me what kind of car this is? The driver/owner is P.G. Wodehouse, famous British author and the picture was taken in 1928. The picture appears on the jacket of his biography by Robert McCrum and also at: http://pro.corbis.com/search/Enlargement.aspx?CID=isg&mediauid={DB5102F2-193B-4AA7-A7BE-4C462ABA0677} Wodehouse mentions a Widgeon 7 in one of his novels but I believe that car is completely fictional.
