I have a 1941 model 78 with bad hydramatic trans. I located a 1949 olds hydramatic and had my trans. shop clean it up & install new seals. My transmission mechanic called me and said when they went to put it in the bell housing from the 49 trans would not line up with my 41 straight 8 engine. Help??
