Thanks for the heads up. No, it's not a home built but it is most likely either a Miller Meteor or a Superior as you suggested. I was not aropund when this was first purchased but we did get subsequent ambulances from both of these manufacturers. I'm not sure either is still in business but I'll check it out. I belong to an Ambulance squad in So. New Jersey. We own a 1964 Pontiac Catalina Ambulance. We are the original owner. Somehow we lost the narrow aluminum trim off the drivers side rear quarter panel. Not being active in the Antique Auto market, I was wondering if anyone out there can help us find a replacement part for this. We use this antique for parades and other public appearances and want it to look good. Otherwise it's the only blemish on this otherwise stock vehicle.
