Guest Faust Posted December 14, 2006 Share Posted December 14, 2006 While looking under the hood of a bone yard '48 Cadillac I noticed what looks like an electric pump. It was mounted on the driver's side, just over the steering column. It had a domed cover over the terminals and, more than anything else, it looked like an inverted starter motor.
