cdaniel
This 1938 Buick Century convertible was my dad's first car. In researching on the web, I've seen it referred to as sport, coupe and roadster. Does anyone know which it is?Also, I'm interested in what colors were available for this car - even a paint chart would be great. And, what about the interior color?Lastly, does anyone have or know where I can get a high resolution image of the radiator emblem? Thanks

cdaniel
Great! Thanks for the info and link! On a site that sells diecast models of this car, they say that 642 were built.Yes, I thought it had a rumble seat. Sidemount - does that refer to the spare tire?I hunted thru photos on the web for about two hours last night and finally figured out what it is by searching on "hood ornaments" and then going thru all the possible years starting backwards with 1948. What a thrill when I finally found it. Gosh, if I were wealthy, I'd go buy one just to sometimes drive the same car my dad had.
