Gonedon
Does anyone know of an individual or company that repairs Plymouth horns. I have a 1936 P2 coupe and only one works. Any suggestions much appreciated.
Guest
Is the horn this style?
Gonedon
GregLaR, Thanks for responding. My 36 has two horns mounted under the horns. I have attached an image to illustrate. Apparently servicing or repairing horns is not much advertised. Gonedon
Guest
Thanks for the picture. While chrome plated, those are not dissimilar to my '38 horns. Mine looked great but were quiet from years of non-use. They are very serviceable. I simply removed the screw holding the top hemispherical cover, then the screws holding the two halves together and cleaned out years of debris. It was amazing how many bug cocoons were in there. Sprayed with PB Blaster and reassembled. They worked perfectly.
