Bob H
Trying to get my chassis to the "roller" state so we can trial fit the body, fine tune the door gaps and install the dash. We have hit a snag with availability of the front propeller shaft bearing and oil seals. Almost no luck at a local bearing supply house. They thought that they could have the bearing custom made but needed a minimum quantity of four to even think about it, maybe a front seal. Bob's sells a rear seal that doesn't fit and nothing else. Does someone have these parts available or a suggestion for a source. Has anyone created a work-around as a substitute for the original? We plan to drive the car so want it in top mechanical condition. The original HYATT bearing number is 30047, Buick part # 5.447 178421. The front seal # 5.469 1308321 and the rear # 5.469 1308322. Thanks! Bob H

Bob H
Nothing quite like 75 year old NOS parts. Pat Riley saved the day. And a belated thanks to buickguyflint for the info. Bob H .
