Okoboji guy Posted March 31, 2016 Share Posted March 31, 2016 I'm trying to identify the small runabout automobile pictured on the RIGHT SIDE of this landscape photo. Helpful clues include: Photographed in Spirit Lake, Iowa (upper midwest) LF Williamz, photographer, copyrighted the image in 1908 -- so it is likely from early '08 or '07 It is likely the photographer's car. Mr. Williamz' obituary said he was noted for bring a wood-finished BRUSH automobile to the area just after the turn of the century. However, a cursory web search doesn't show any vehicles like this Possibilities to think about: Two-seat runabout Looks like tiller steering, but it may be a bad angle Note that the "engine compartment" looks to be under the seat and behind Beyond this, I'm lost -- who can help?
