Guest 54sks762
New to the forum and the nailhead world , picked up a 56 buick special for my wife and have been under it for about a month getting things into shape. Ive had alot of fun with the one year master cylinder and swiss cheese floors , but im on to the fuel system now. My ? For you guys is about the in and out on the fuel pump. I think I have the windshield wiper vacume lines figured out but the car had an electrical fuel pump on it so the gas lines were different. I need to know which one of the fittings on the pump is the in and which is the out to carb for fuel. I think the one closest to front of car goes to tank and the other one goes to carb. Does anyone have a clear pic or know for sure. (Picture would be awesome). Thanks in advance. Chris
Owen_Dyneto
just crank the fuel pump arm with your hand or have someone crank the engine while you hold your finger over one of the holes - you'll easily tell inlet from outlet.
