HELLO I RECENTLY PURCHASED A "MOTOR GUAGE" AT A ANTIQUE MOTORCYCLE MEET,I KNOW IT WAS PRODUCED IN 1931 BY JOSEPH WIEDENHOFF COMPANY. IT CONTAINS ALL OF THE LITERATURE AND MANUALS AND EVERYTHING IS THERE. ANYONE KNOW WHAT ITS WORTH OR HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF IT? THANK YOU. This portable device was called the "Wonder Tool of the Age", and was used for regulating valve and ignition timing and synchronizing high compression engines. It checks everything under the hood through the spark hole plug, without dismantling the Engine. The operating manual include tune up specs for cars from 1925 thru 1932 and has a supplement for 1935. This gauge was used on all cars including the true classics - Dusenberg, Packard, Pierce Arrows, Stutz, as well as Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Lincoln, etc WHATS IT WORTH? THANK YOU

IT CLAIMS ITS A PORTABLE DEVICE USED FOR REGULATING VALVE AND IGNITION TIMING, SYNCRONIZING IGNITION, TESTING COIL CONDENSOR OR MAGNETO, CHECKING COMPRESSION LOCATING RINGOR VALVE LEAKS WITHOUT TAKING THE MOTOR APART. IT SAYS IT WORKS BY GOING THROUGH THE SPARK PLUG HOLE. THE MANUAL GIVE SPECS ON ALL OF THE MOTOR. ALL CARS FROM1925-1937 PASSENGER CARS AND 1923-1931 TRUCKS. THE ONLY INFO I FOUND ON IT SAYS IT IS REAL RARE. THE COST OF IT WAS $71.00 IN 1931. THANK YOU.

I also came into possession of one of these.

Mine has the instruction book with the car specs from 1928-1932.

Mine is called "Apollo Motor Gauge"

I've never seen one for sale.

Any idea what these are worth?
