Guest PontiacDude210
Got the dash back together with my newly painted bezel trim and rebuilt headlight switch from Jim Finn. I just want to mention that Mr. Finn shipped the switch super fast and the rebuild is in great condition. I'm impressed. The new switch sadly does not have the "Braille" on the buttons. <a href="http://s1379.photobucket.com/user/pontiacdude210/media/90%20Reatta%20Coupe/20150221_135549_zpsdu1vbtby.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah128/pontiacdude210/90%20Reatta%20Coupe/20150221_135549_zpsdu1vbtby.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 20150221_135549_zpsdu1vbtby.jpg"/></a>
Blue90
Looking good! What was the industrial adhesive you used on the plastic bezel clips?I've never found anything that holds under tension.Thanks,S.
Guest PontiacDude210
I used E6000, it is some excellent stuff. I tested it against super glue in industrial materials class years back, and found that it held better under tension due to being flexible and adhering to almost anything. I applied it to every spot where a clip was supposed to go through into the trim backing, and used small spring clamps with plastic jaws to hold it in place as it dried. Machiner 55
That E6000 is some pretty good stuff. Can be found at hardware/home supply stores as well as WalMart and such. The only complaint I have with it is that it's thinner (runny) than I'd like. But, it stick to just about anything and stays stuck. Seals as well.John F.
