Window channels

Well, after years of listening to the windows rattle, I'm going to replace the channel "whiskers" or "door glass run". Then set them for the best compromise between the hard and soft top. The door gaps are as good as they're going to get, but I'll do the striker plates also. I've found some good info on clearing the rollers, removing the windows, etc. I'll order new parts as necessary, I don't want to do this more than once.

Anyone one have any tricks or advice to offer?
