Guest fkaugusta
Just wondering if anyone can give me some pointers about removing the radiator shell on my 60 series 1930 Buick for rechroming. Can the shell be removed without removing the radiator like a Model A?? I see the bolts holding in on but not sure how the lower portion comes off. Also, once it's removed I understand the louvers must be removed and replaced after chrome work is complete. How much of a job will that be? Thanks in advance for your input! Guest uprrstand
Off topic. Do you have any extra bumper guards for a 1930 Buick? Thanks.
jscheib
fkagusta,You might better post on Pre_war section. I think the radiator will need to come out also, but other will know for sure. I think 30-32 are similar, and the louvers will need to come out, and it is a lot of work to get them back as original. Not sure if 30 is exactly like 32, but 32 has the circular part of the louver as chrome, with the "Flap" part painted so even more complicated.John
