Guest bulletproof
Hello Everybody,I am a proud owner of a 1976 Riviera with 43,000 kms. She has been indoors most of her life. I finally am finding time to spend with her.Does anybody know if the console from a 1971 Riviera will fit into a 1976 Riviera? Is there any others on here with a vast knowledge of the 1976 Riviera or know where to find parts?I am installing a suspension kit, front sway bar [larger diameter than stock] 4 coils to lower 2", 4 gas shocks, rear sway bar [no rear sway bar now].I want to next upgrade my brakes [discs brakes all around and add posi trac. After I see how she drives I will decide what increase of power is needed and options for my transmission.Any help along the way would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. rivgs
bulletproof, The long console with transmission shifter and the short console are the same from 71 to 76.
Guest bulletproof
Thanks Kevin, the one I found is the long console and will come with the shifter and linkage. Mine does not have this so I will have to make a cut out to proceed. I really like the looks of these consoles.Layne
