GMC Grill - Late 1930s-1940s - Big Trucks, COE ???

I have this GMC Grill, Not sure what year it fits. I listed it last year on eBay and got a lot of questions but no offers, some people felt it was off one of the Larger trucks or maybe a Cabover. Here are the measurement.

23" Wide at Top, 21" Wide at Bottom, 30 1/2" Tall, Bars are 2" wide at widest point, has 1 3/4" Dia Crank Hole in bottom.

It has the following number marked on the underside bottom # 2073928, it's hand written like the old parts were, also has a wire still on it from old tag, but no tag.

I'd like to know what models it fix???

Might take it to Charlotte Autofair.

Hope someone has some knowledge on this style of Grill.

Looks like 1939-'40, cabover would be wider and flat looking.
