oldcar
Here in Victoria Australia the good people at the Vintage Drivers Club have an arrangement where a sub-committee (of mainly ladies) run what they call the "Gear-box". They collect clothes from the 1920s and in some cases re-manufacture. It solves the problem of what to do with clothes that are no longer "your size", they will almost certainly fit someone else. These are then available to members at a modest cost. the proceeds going into club funds. That way everyone benefits. Perhaps your local clubs should consider a similar arrangement.Bernie J.
