49 Chrysler project-parts needed

Decided to take my inquiries right to the pros-Purchased a 49 Chrysler Royal coupe out of the woods.Very complete project car except for the fact that the intake and exhaust manifolds are missing,as is the carburetor.Ive read that there are 2 different Chrysler flatheads-which motors will have a setup which will fit this one?According to one manual,this should be a 250.Id appreciate any leads on locating these parts.I live in No.Mass,so i am lucky to be close to Roberts!

You have the long block 25 inch, found in Desotos and Chryslers 251 and 265 engines. The Plymouth and Dodge 218 and 230 were 23 inch short blocks. And in Canada all Chrysler Corp Flat Head sixes were cast Long Blocks regardless of the Displacements, so manifolds from a Canadian engine would probably fit. Hope this helps a bit............Fred
